In defense of Matchbox

I started modeling with Matchbox kits. As a kid, Matchbox kits offered a bunch of positives.

I can’t help it: I love Matchbox kits.

I know, I know. I can already hear the discussion: “Look at the panel lines. If you fell in there, you’d never climb out.” Or, “Cockpit? What cockpit? An almost chair-shaped piece of plastic does not a pilot’s seat make.” And finally, “But they’re just not right.
