May 7, 2010 Built by a consortium of Alenia Aeronautics, BAE Systems, and European Aeronautic Defence and Space Company N.V. (EADS), the Eurofighter Typhoon first flew in 1994 and now serves Austria, Germany, Italy, Saudi Arabia, Spain, and the United Kingdom as a multirole fighter.
