It is the most basic of scale modeling skills, but not to be taken for granted: removing plastic parts from a sprue. In this video from the FineScale Modeler workshop, Associate Editor Mark Hembree shows you how to properly remove parts from a sprue with a side cutter. He also covers removing photoetched-metal parts from a fret using a hobby knife.
