First Silly Putty, now Play-Doh?

RELATED TOPICS: AIRBRUSHING
Instead of using poster putty (like Blu-Tack) or Silly Putty for demarcation lines when airbrushing, try Play-Doh modeling compound. Its advantages: it’s cheap; it can be rolled into fine lines around compound curves; it does not lift decals or leave residue; it spreads much more easily than Blu-Tack; and it doesn’t stick as much.

You can even make the stuff at home in less than 10 minutes. Search online for “play dough recipe.” Leftovers can be stored in the fridge and will last for months.
