Magic masking

RELATED TOPICS: PAINTING
Paint a strip of Scotch Magic Tape a dark color and cut it into narrow strips to mask canopies. The dark color contrasts very well with the clear ridge or indentation of the canopy detail, so an extremely clean mask is possible. Magic Tape is perfect for this because it cuts easily with a sharp blade, minimizing damage to the clear part, and it doesn’t seem to leave any residue. After painting, I dip the whole thing in Pledge Future floor polish. The painted area doesn’t end up super shiny, but, as you know, the clear part will look great!
