I have a small toolbox to carry modeling tools to club meetings, vacations, etc. I always have a couple of paintbrushes, and I need an easy way to protect the bristles from damage. So, I tape the brushes together with the handles pointing in opposite directions. That way, the handle of one brush protects the bristles of the other, and vice versa.
