Clean your masking tape

RELATED TOPICS: PAINTING | MODELING TOOLS
Dust and other particles can stick to the sides of a roll of masking tape while it’s lying in your toolbox or on top of your workbench. This compromises the edge of the tape, possibly ruining your paint job. If this happens, use a piece of packing tape to lift the dust and other bits from the sides. Once it’s clean, store your masking tape in a resealable bag or tape dispenser.
